SCHOTT RESTOVER®Accurate in style and true to the times

At a glance

Historical in shape, innovative in function

Restoration of historic monuments is a delicate task in which every aesthetic nuance is important. Glasses for restoration from SCHOTT provide the diversified range of materials that architects need. They are manufactured using the traditional Fourcault process and their appearance is based on historical window glasses from a variety of different eras.

RESTOVER®

RESTOVER® glass for restoration resembles the window glass manufactured at the turn of the 20th century. Thanks to its minimal thickness, it can be easily installed in historical window frames and profiles. Whereas RESTOVER® Light glass for restoration has a slightly less irregular surface structure, RESTOVER® Plus glass for restoration has a much more irregular surface structure and thus resembles mouthblown glass.

Key facts

  • RESTOVER® glass for restoration is designed for buildings dating back to the early 1900s
  • It is available with enhanced UV protection
  • Many processing options (e.g. as laminated safety glass, with coatings or as insulating glass units)
