PYRAN® white offers a real alternative if customized solutions are needed for specific structural conditions. PYRAN® white is a monolithic, thermally annealed glass that is manufactured from borosilicate glass in accordance with DIN EN1748-1.

PYRAN® white offers bending strength of 70 N/mm², comparable to that of annealed soda-lime glass as defined in DIN EN 18631 thanks to the annealing process that is used. Due to its special composition, however, PYRAN® white is able to withstand temperature change much better. As a component of fire resistant glazing that meets the requirements for fire resistance class E 30, PYRAN® white is available at very attractive prices. PYRAN® white can be used whenever technical fire protection requirements must be brought in line with cost-effective solutions.

Design and variety of PYRAN® white

PYRAN® white – Composite safety glass
PYRAN® white composite safety glass as a laminate made of PYRAN® white and soda-lime or single-pane safety glass can be used to meet special requirements for noise protection and protection against falls. The use according to TRLV and TRAV is stipulated in the general type approval Z-70.3-145. In addition to certification of protection against falling, there are general type approval test certificates according to TRAV with wooden or steel frames.
