SCHOTT OPALIKA®Like light that comes from the sky

At a glance

Spread evenly, low-shadow, color-neutral

SCHOTT OPALIKA® white flashed opal glass has outstanding properties. The white flashed opal glass distributes light as evenly and naturally as a closed cloud cover. This is why OPALIKA® white flashed opal is ideally suited for illuminated ceilings in museums, shops, showrooms, foyers and other rooms that call for evenly diffused daylight-like lighting.

Attractive and versatile

As a material for use in backlit furniture, OPALIKA® white flashed opal glass sets eye-catching accents - whether as a reception desk, a wall partition or a wall of light. This is guaranteed by its excellent color rendition that presents lighting in its true colors without distorting them. After all, OPALIKA® white flashed opal glass from SCHOTT consists of a special colorless optical glass and a thin pure white flashed opal glass layer.

The light sources behind the glass remain invisible. With OPALIKA® white flashed opal glass, uniform illumination can already be achieved starting at 7-7/8 inches / 20 centimeters distance from the light source. This makes low panel heights and extremely low suspended ceilings possible.
