IR-Materials

Infrared (IR) materials, are optically transmissive at wavelengths greater than approximately
1 micron and integral to a variety of devices and applications. ZnS (FLIR), ZnS (CLEAR) and chalcogenide glasses from SCHOTT cover a broad range of applications. These applications include thermal imaging for military and homeland security, night vision systems and remote sensing.
